On Friday our annual mm1 company meeting took place in virtual reality, with almost 100 enthusiastic participants from five countries working from home, each with their own VR headset. Five VR sessions in total: networking the evening before and four on the conference day itself, each between 30 and 60 minutes long.
Some of our first impressions: “it was something completely different from sitting in front of Zoom – above all, the ways of interacting with each other are far more varied and more intense”, “I really had the feeling that we were all there together” –> #digitalsocialproximity works in VR!
